This case is a study in the tensions that can beset the franchisor-franchisee relationship. Ten owners of Meineke Discount Muffler franchises sued franchisor Meineke Discount Muffler Shops, Inc. (“Meineke”), Meineke’s in-house advertising agency New Horizons Advertising, Inc.
