CRITZ, Judge.

This suit was instituted in the district court of Freestone county, Tex., by R. G. Radford, against the city of Teague, a municipal corporation, organized under the General Laws of this state, to recover damages for personal injuries received by Rad-ford while employed by the city as the superintendent of its municipal waterworks. Rad-ford alleges that he was personally injured by the bursting of an air compressor, which was a part of the machinery of the waterworks plant.
