KING, Senior Judge:
Appellant, Matthew Rogers (“Rogers”), appeals from the trial court’s decision granting summary judgment to Advance Bank, appellee, on a complaint for breach of contract, judicial foreclosure, and/or judicial sale. Rogers argues that the court erred in granting the motion without first requiring that the parties participate in mediation pursuant to D.C.Code § 42-815(b) and § 815.02 (2012 Repl.).
