Appellant, Jeffrey Scott Moore, appeals from a final judgment entered in the United States District Court 1 for the District of South Dakota upon a jury verdict finding him guilty of involuntary manslaughter in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1112 and use of a firearm during a crime of violence in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 924(c). 2 The district court sentenced Moore under the federal sentencing guidelines to 72 months imprisonment, two years supervised release, and a special assessment of $100.00.
