The transactions involved in these three appeals are several importations of coffee by the bankrupt from Brazil, on which the appellants respectively (London bankers) had advanced the purchase price, under provisions made for security of the appellants, through ownership of the goods, pending payment by the bankrupt of such advances. On arrival in Chicago, as consigned, the bankrupt received and stored the imported goods in public warehouses, taking the customary warehouse receipts therefor in his own name.
