OPINION
{¶ 1} This appeal arises out of a forcible entry and detainer action (i.e., eviction). The tenant, Joel Kalson ("appellant"), appeals from the trial court's entry of default judgment in favor of the landlord, William J. Dobbins ("appellee"). Appellant claims he did not receive notice of the eviction hearing, although he does admit that he "was legally served with process," as defined by Ohio's forcible entry and detainer statute.
