District Court, N.D. Illinois
1Opinion of the Court
MEMORANDUM OPINION AND ORDER
ASPEN, Chief Judge.
Presently before us is Willie Jenkins’ pro se petition for habeas corpus relief pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 2254. Jenkins contends that: 1) his waiver of the right to counsel at trial was not knowing and voluntary; 2) the trial court erred in failing to conduct a hearing to determine whether his use of epilepsy medications rendered him unfit to stand trial; and 3) his appellate counsel was ineffective in faffing to argue that he was entitled to a fitness hearing. For the reasons set forth below, wé deny the petition.
