These are separate proceedings in error between the same parties, prosecuted from one decree. The records are exceedingly voluminous. The facts to be gleaned therefrom, briefly stated, are as follows : James G. Black died intestate on the 14th day of May, 1877, leaving surviving him his widow, Phebe A.
