Plaintiff-appellant Cheryl Brubaker-Schaub (hereafter plaintiff) was employed by defendants-appellees the B.F. Goodrich Company and its Geon Vinyl Division (hereafter collectively referred to as defendants). Over time, plaintiff indicated her interest in being considered for promotion to a management level position. By all accounts, plaintiff's work was considered excellent in certain respects.
