This is a usury case. The plaintiff, Lawler Family Trusts (“the Lawler Trust”) instituted this action against defendants Lomas & Nettleton Financial Corporation (“Lomas & Nettleton Financial”) and Lomas & Net-tleton Mortgage Investors (“Lomas & Net-tleton Mortgage”), alleging that certain loans made by Lomas & Nettleton Financial (Numbers 607, 1126, and 1667) were usurious.
