In this interlocutory appeal, we are asked to review the trial court’s decision denying the South East Texas Regional Planning Commission’s plea to the jurisdiction. See Tex. Civ. Prac. & Rem.Code Ann. § 51.014(a)(8) (West Supp. 2014) (authorizing appeals from interlocutory orders deciding pleas to the jurisdiction). 1 After reviewing the relevant evidence and the pleadings, we hold the trial court should have granted the Planning Commission’s plea.
