I. INTRODUCTION

A jury convicted Appellant Alvin Houston Thompson of one count of sexual assault of a child and one count of indecency with a child. The trial court orally assessed an enhanced punishment of thirty years’ confinement on the count of sexual assault, but failed to pronounce sentence on the count of indecency. Nevertheless, the trial court’s judgment reflects that Appellant’s punishment was assessed at thirty years’ confinement for each offense.
