¶ 1. Following their divorce in 2011, Amanda Pritchett (Amanda) filed for a termination of her ex-husband James Pritchett’s (James) parental rights to their two children.1 The DeSoto County Chancery Court granted Amanda’s motion and terminated James’s parental rights. James argues on appeal that, due to his indigency, the chancery court should have appointed an attorney to represent him due to his incarceration and arranged for his transportation from his prison facility to the hearing.
