This case was initiated by complaints filed by Jeremiah Crockett and Erma Crockett against Uniroyal, Inc. (“Uniroyal”), Seaboard System Railroad, Inc., (“Seaboard”) and Southern Railway Company (“Southern”). (Seaboard and Southern are referred to collectively as “the railroad defendants”).
