This case involves the ownership of working interests in certain oil and gas properties. There are three parties involved in a dispute over the ownership of oil and gas leases: Masgas, a partnership; MHW, Inc.; and E.D. Anderson and his sons. Masgas filed suit against the Andersons seeking recovery of distributions, an accounting, and a declaratory judgment that Masgas owns the disputed working interests.
