SOPER, Circuit Judge.

This appeal is taken from an order of the District Court which denied the motion of B. D. Taylor, under 28 U.S.C. § 2255, to vacate a sentence of imprison ment imposed upon him for the sale of narcotic drugs in violation of 26 U.S.C. § 4705(a). The grounds stated in the motion were (1) that the District Judge, in violation of Rule 11 of The Federal Rules of Criminal Procedure, 18 U.S.C., accepted a plea of guilty from Taylor without first determining that the plea was made voluntarily with understanding of the nature of the charge; and (2) that the District Judge, in…
