OPINION
GILMAN, Circuit Judge.
Defendant Kevin Joseph Pluta (“Pluta”) seeks to have us set aside his guilty plea or, ■ in the alternative, to reduce the sentence he received for being a convicted felon in pos- ■ session of a firearm. Specifically, Pluta finds fault with the district court for: (1) refusing to grant his motion to withdraw his guilty plea; (2) sentencing him as an armed career criminal; (3) enhancing his sentence to offense level 34 pursuant to U.S.S.G. § 4B1.4(b)(3)(A); and (4) departing upward from the sentencing ranges provided in the guidelines by two offense levels.
