BRYAN, Judge.

Charles Mitchell (“the husband”) appeals from a judgment divorcing him from Elaine Mitchell (“the wife”), and the wife cross-appeals from that judgment. With respect to the appeal, we affirm in part, reverse in part, and remand with instructions. With respect to the cross-appeal, we affirm.

The husband and the wife married in 1992 and separated in 2008. They have *906one child (“the child”), a son, who was born in 1994. In 2009, the husband sued the wife for a divorce on the ground of incompatibility. Counterclaiming, the wife sought a divorce on the grounds of incompatibility and…
