This action is a suit by two state retirement systems seeking a judgment declaring they are entitled to possession of certain funds collected pursuant to state law and which are being held by the state treasurer. Separate suits were filed by the Firefighters’ Retirement System and the Municipal Police Employees’ Retirement System (hereinafter collectively referred to as Systems) against Mary L.
