MOLLOY, Judge.

This is an appeal from a judgment of guilt and order for probation as to a charge of assault with a deadly weapon.

The defendant was an enlisted man in the United States Army, stationed at Fort Huachuca, Arizona, and, on the evening in question, was the driver of a car in which there were three female passengers, two of whom were members of the Women’s Army Corps. The owner of the car, known by the defendant only as “Joan,” rode in the front seat as a passenger.
