On December 8, 1978, at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, the appellant was tried by a military judge alone sitting as a special court-martial. In accordance with his guilty pleas, he was convicted of larceny and wrongful appropriation of government property, in violation of Article 121, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. § 121. He was sentenced to a bad-conduct discharge, confinement at hard labor for 150 days, and forfeiture of $240.00 pay per month for 6 months.
