This is an original application for a writ of mandamus. The following facts are alleged in support of the petition: that on the 26th day of October, 1904, the relator was tried in the superior court of King county for the crime of assault with intent to murder, was found guilty as charged, and sentenced to imprisonment in the penitentiary at hard labor for the term of fourteen, years; and that the judgment of conviction has been affirmed by this court; that the relator was convicted of said charge solely upon the testimony of Mrs. Sebastian Hcci and C'omchetta Rosetta, who testified on the…
