GRAY, Justice.

This is a divorce case. The trial court awarded appellee a divorce from appellant on her petition and her testimony charging appellant with cruel treatment toward her. The judgment also divided personal property acquired during the marriage equally between the parties.

The parties were married in Austin, Texas, September 14, 1930. Prior to and after the marriage appellant was employed in Texas, first by a Shoe Company and then by S. H. Kress and Company. In 1939 this company transferred him to Ardmore, Oklahoma, and he remained there until May, 1944, when he joined the Navy.…
