The plaintiff brings this action of tort to recover damages for personal injuries sustained while riding in an automobile owned and operated by the defendant. The accident occurred in Lebanon, Connecticut, on July 3, 1947. The plaintiff had a verdict. The questions for deci sion arise out of the defendant’s exceptions to the denial of his motion for a directed verdict and to a portion of the judge’s charge.
