Respondent Nytaino Romulus was admitted to the practice of law in the State of New York by the Second Judicial Department on January 16, 2008. At all times relevant to this proceeding, respondent maintained an office for the practice of law within the First Department.

Now, by petition dated June 23, 2017, the Attorney Grievance Committee (the Committee) seeks an order, pursuant to Rules for Attorney Disciplinary Matters (22 NYCRR) § 1240.9 (a) (1) and (3), immediately suspending respondent from the practice of law based upon his “default in responding to a petition, notice…
