OPINION

HIGGINBOTHAM, District Judge.

The question presented in these motions for summary judgment is whether the defendant parent corporation, which is a signatory to a collective bargaining agreement with the plaintiff union, can be compelled to arbitrate plaintiff’s claim that the union is entitled to be recognized as the representative for the employees of defendant’s subsidiary where said subsidiary maintains a separate corporate identity and has already recognized, pursuant to its own labor-management policies, a different exclusive bargaining representative for its employees.
