WOODLEY, Presiding Judge.

The offense is driving a motor vehicle upon a public highway while intoxicated; the punishment, 30 days in jail and a fine of $150.

Officers Douglas L. Jackson and C. A. Knowles testified that shortly after midnight appellant ran a red light at an intersection where they were stopped, and almost hit the squad car; that they overtook appellant; that he had a very slurred speech and was very unsteady on his feet; his eyes were watery and bloodshot; there was a strong odor of alcohol on his breath and he said…
