This was ejectment, by appellees, against appellant, to recover possession of a certain lot, brought March 4,1885. The «cause was tried by the court, without a jury, by consent, and resulted in a finding and judgment for appellees, and defendant below prosecutes this appeal.

The plaintiffs, to maintain the issues on their part, as is stated in the bill of exceptions, offered the files and record of the county court of Cook county, in a certain proceeding wherein William E.
