A jury convicted appellant Lydell Anton Jones of possession with intent to deliver or manufacture a controlled substance, phencyclidine (“PCP”), in an amount greater than 400 grams. See Tex. Health & Safety Code § 481.102(8) (Penally Group 1); id. § 481.112(a) & (f) (Offense: Manufacture or Delivery of Substance in Penally Group 1). The jury found enhancement allegations in the indictment to be “true,” specifically that Jones previously had been convicted of possession of controlled substance with intent to deliver, possession of marihuana, and unauthorized…
