Kawaskii Blanche (appellant) appeals from a final judgment entered in the United States District Court 1 for the District of Minnesota, upon a jury verdict, finding him guilty of being a felon 2 in possession of a firearm in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1). 3 The district court sentenced appellant under the federal sentencing guidelines to fifty-one months imprisonment, three years of supervised release, and a special assessment of one hundred dollars.
