Dent, Judge:
Bartles & Dillon, execution creditors, instituted a suit in chancery in the circuit court of Berkeley county against John W. Dodd, their debtor, and others, among other things for the-purpose of testing the validity of a certain deed of .trust executed by said Dodd on certain personal property for the purpose-of securing D. M. and J. H. Shaffer, as his endorsers on certain notes due the National Bank of Martinsburg.
