Plaintiff Gregory L. Abrams, once a member of the Jeffrey Valley Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses, brought suit against individual members of that congregation and the Watchtower Bible and Tract Society of New York (sometimes collectively defendants), alleging that defendants conspired to remove him from the congregation by causing two female members to accuse him falsely of grave and serious sins.
