The state, as the owner of section 16, township 16 north, range 51, west of the 6th P. M., in Cheyenne county, brought this suit to have the disputed boundaries of the section adjudicated. The land is a school-land section. The proceeding is provided for by a special statute (Comp. St. 1929, sec. 34-301) authorizing the district court, as in equity, to ascertain and establish permanently corners or boundaries which are lost, destroyed or in dispute.
