In this case, an employee suffered work-related binaural hearing loss which has resulted in a 22% to 26% permanent medical impairment rating. The employee has missed no work as a result of this impairment. Focusing on the employee’s continued ability to work, the trial court awarded the employee 9% of 150 weeks for loss of hearing as a scheduled member. On appeal, the Special Workers’…
