— Judgment, Supreme Court, New York County (Joan Carey, J.), rendered January 8, 1986, *473which convicted defendant after jury trial of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree and sentenced him to a prison term of 3 to 6 years, unanimously affirmed.

Defendant was convicted of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree arising from his arrest by police officers who stopped him while driving his girlfriend’s car.
