McLAUGHLIN, Circuit Judge.
In this automobile accident case before trial had actually begun plaintiffs filed a motion for issuance of a contempt citation against a group of insurance companies, the appellees herein. Those companies, otherwise unconnected with the named appeal suit, were responsible for a series of advertisements in Life Magazine and the Saturday Evening Post and a separate pamphlet that was given general distribution. The purport of those advertisements and pamphlet was to the effect that “excessive jury awards” were responsible in part at least for the raising of insurance…
