Appeal by defendant from a judgment of the County Court, Nassau County, rendered June 6, 1977, convicting him of murder in the second degree, manslaughter in the first degree and attempted robbery in the first degree, upon a jury verdict, and imposing sentence. The appeal brings up for review the denial, after a hearing, of defendant’s motion to suppress certain oral and written evidence and physical evidence seized by the police. Judgment reversed, on the law, motion to suppress statements and evidence granted (except insofar as defendant seeks to suppress his coat), and new trial ordered.…
