This case is before us on automatic and direct review of defendant’s judgment of conviction and sentences of death. Defendant seeks reversal of his convictions for two counts of aggravated murder and his convictions for felony murder, attempted murder, first-degree assault, first-degree robbery, first-degree burglary, and felon in possession of a firearm. Defendant challenges trial court rulings in the pretrial, guilt, and penalty phases of his trial, seeking reversal of bis convictions or, in the alternative, vacation of his sentences and remand for resentencing.
