OPINION
KNOX, Judge.
Anthony Renee Allen appeals from his convictions of the offenses of promoting prostitution in the first degree and use of a minor in a sexual performance. He was sentenced to a period of seven (7) years.
Appellant and L. M., a minor seventeen (17) years of age at the time of appellant’s trial, met in September of 1995, when appellant picked L.M. up in his car as she was walking along Dixie Highway in Louisville.
