Petitioner, Michael James, appeals from a judgment of the circuit court of Cook County dismissing his post-conviction petition without an evidentiary hearing. Petitioner contends that the trial court’s alleged failure to fully comply with Supreme Court Rule 402 (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1971, ch. 110A, par. 402) governing acceptance of guilty pleas, was a denial of due process and warranted relief under the Post-Conviction Hearing Act. Ill. Rev.
