The general rule is that all bills of exceptions (with a single exception relating to change of venue) must be tendered within 30 days of the decision complained of. Code Ann. § 6-902. The Act of 1957 (Ga. L. 1957, p. 224 et seq.) amended both Code Ann. § 6-902 and § 6-906 in an effort to eliminate dismissal of cases under certain circumstances which worked a hardship on the plaintiff in error.
