Byron Park District v. Oregon Park District

This is a consolidated appeal from trial court decisions in two matters involving conflicting efforts to annex or incorporate the site of a nuclear power plant.

The first of these matters arose on July 11,1977, when a petition was filed on the behalf of more than 100 residents of the Byron, Illinois, area, before the circuit court of Ogle County, seeking an election, pursuant to section 2 — 1 et seq. of the Park District Code (Ill.
