Piaintiff, appellee here, commenced this suit against defendant, appellant here, in the district court of Weld county, for divorce and alimony, basing her right of action on three grounds: First. That the defendant had been guilty of *58habitual drunkenness for the space of one year or more; Sec1 ond. That he had been guilty of extreme and repeated acts, of cruelty toward the plaintiff; and Third. That he had been guilt}'- of adultery.
