This case was heard en banc pursuant to Code § 17-116.02(D). The appellant, Faith Angela Josephs, contends that her conviction for distribution of marijuana in violation of Code *90§ 18.2-248.1 should be overturned because (1) the state police improperly stopped the vehicle in which she was a passenger, and (2) the evidence was insufficient to establish that she knowingly and intentionally possessed marijuana. For the reasons that follow, we affirm the conviction.
