OPINION

WILSON, Justice.

Appellant, British American Insurance Company, appeals the jury verdict in favor of appellee, Raymond Howarton, in a workers’ compensation case. 1 Appellee was injured at his job as a construction foreman for Austin Bridge Company. The Texas Industrial Accident Board awarded appellee damages for an “injury or occupational disease” occurring in the course and scope of his employment. This suit is an appeal from the board award.
