1Opinion of the CourtJustice Hoffman

Appellant, C. Brian Pendleton, a beneficiary under the will of Esther C. Pendleton, appeals from an order setting a date for a public auction of real property which was a part of the estate. We consider: (1) whether this court has jurisdiction to consider the appeal under Supreme Court Rule 304(b)(l) (134 Ill. 2d R. 304(b)(1)) allowing an appeal from an order entered in the administration of an estate which finally determines a right or status of a party; and (2) whether the appeal is moot because the property has been sold. For the following reasons, we dismiss the appeal.
