This matter came before the Supreme Court on April 15,1997, pursuant to an order directing both parties to appear and show cause why the issues raised in this appeal should not be summarily decided. The plaintiffs, Robert L. and Luella M. Norcliffe, appeal from an order of the Superior Court denying their motion to vacate a judgment dismissing their complaint against the defendant, Sanford J.
