This was an action of ejectment in the common pleas court of Lafayette county, taken by change of venue to the circuit court of that county, and from that court by change of venue to the Johnson circuit court, in which a trial resulted in a judgment for defendant, from which plaintiff has appealed. The suit was to recover a strip of land off of the south end of the east half of the northwest quarter of section 11, township 48, range 25, 140 feet wide on the east, and 136 feet wide on the west side 7 . > and eighty rods in length.
