The circuit court entered judgment imposing, as a monetary sanction against Robert C. Nusbaum, an attorney, for his misconduct during a jury trial, an award of attorneys' fees and costs to the opposing parties. In the same judgment order, the circuit court found Nusbaum guilty of criminal contempt of court in violation of Code § 18.2-456(1) and imposed a fine of $250 pursuant to Code § 18.2-457. Nusbaum petitioned for an appeal to this Court pursuant to Code § 8.01-670(A)(3) from the circuit court's judgment imposing the monetary sanction. Nusbaum also…
