At the January term, 1914, of the county court of Brown county, Albert Tice was by the verdict of a jury found to be the father of a certain bastard child, and was by the judgment of the court condemned to pay to the clerk of said court, for the support, maintenance and education of said child, the sum of $100 for the first year after the birth of the child, which occurred on September 19, 1913, and $50 per year thereafter for nine years, the payments to be in equal quarterly installments, and to be made on the 19th day of December, March, June and September of each year.
